Review - Look back, am I really trying hard?

A famous cartoon writer known for 'Chainsaw Man' published a short cartoon before those works. It had been well-known among the big fan of this writer and mania who like cartoons. And recently I heard a news about making animation with this. This cartoon is 'Look back'.

Story

Two girls appear in the movie. One girl is general student in a class. She has a litter more capacity than other classmates. The school she going issue a weelky newsletter with short cartoon. The cartoon used to be drawn by the girl. One day, a teacher aksed her to give some chance for drawing cartoon on weekly newsletter to someone who avoid coming school. When new newsletter issued with the one's works, she really shocked by those works because seem very professional. This thinig motivate her to try darwing cartoon advanced than before. She is crazy about drawing cartoon for 1 year. But she felt the wall even after 1 year when she compare the result of her trying with the other girl.

For giving certificate of graduation by teacher's ask, the girl visit the shy girl's home. Passing a lot of worksheets made by the shy girl, the girl draw a funny cartoon that satirize what the shy girl don't leave home. It was just kiding but the cartoon be sended to the shy girl under the door closed by mistake. The girl tried to running away from there, but surprisingly, the shy girl caught the girl. The shy girl told her that she has really respected the girl for a long time.

Friendship between these two girls starts. They really like darwing cartoon together and their works be selected to publishing in a comic magazine. But shy girl wants to go university to learning draw scenery. Finally, they had to be apart.

Review

Honestly, I think that the girl who draw cartoon first is a good story teller. Her works is very interesting and funny. But the shy girl is better to draw something. Both girls is complementary for each one.

And I envy them for having passion for something. Their case is in drawing cartoon. You know, that many modern people live without passion for anything. We just adapt to bear tough things. It make us lost joy for living. How can we remind of these things?

In this movie, the shy girl told the girl, "Why do you draw cartoons?". At first, the girl says, "Drawing catoon is very boring". And the girl's answering stops and a series of scene where girls is enjoying working on their works together are shown to viewer. Two girls seems very happy in those scenes. Even though my previous efforts didn't measure up theirs, I can sympathize them beacuse I also was happy when shared memories with people who were with in my proudest moments. At that time, it was very painful times for me to do great job. But now, it just remains joyful memory that the act we thought through and solved problem together.

After watching this movie, I regret for what I didn't do with more efforts before. Someday, a person I get known when I volunteer, said me, "You want to achieve something, you should crazy about that". Watching the girl in movie, I'm not sure I can said I have done in my best. Maybe I just satisified what I done before in my criteria. So I thought I should have time for considering What I am doing and why I do that. I have to motivated myself while thinkg about those things.
